GP Triage is our online patient triage system; GP Triage can be used to access self-care information, submit medical and administrative requests, and even register new patients to the surgery.

Urgent Appointment
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):
- use our appointment request form
- phone us on 02476 311200, Monday to Friday from 8am
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8:30am
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Routine Appointment
To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days:
- use our appointment request form
- phone us on 02476 311200, Monday to Friday from 8am
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8:30am
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- using the GP online system
- phone us on 02476 311200, Monday to Friday from 8:30am
- reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
The practice reserves the right to ask you to rebook your appointment should you be more than 10 minutes late.
Enhanced Access Service
In Enhanced Access we provide patient access to appointments on behalf of our 11 General Practice members. Enhanced Access offers virtual and face to face when your Practice is closed.
What does Enhanced Access mean?
- GP services will be provided appointments from 6.30pm - 8pm on weekdays, and from 9am-5pm on Saturdays.
- You can book your appointments through your surgery up to 2 weeks in advance or on the day.
- You can book, check and cancel any appointments with the service through calling our dedicated line between 5pm - 8pm on weekdays, and from 9am - 5pm on Saturdays (02475 107 053)
- Services will be available with access to a range of health professionals working in the primary care team.
If a face-to-face appointment is needed, this will be at one of two GP practices in the local area.

Bulkington Surgery
School Road, Bulkington, CV12 9JB
Practitioners will include General Medical Practitioners (GP), Practice Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP), Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and Health Care Assistant’s (HCA). As the service develops it is hoped to also include First Contact Practitioners, Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians too.
Appointments will be available to book 14 days in advance.
Request a telephone consultation
To request a telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse, please telephone the surgery on 02476311200 and a receptionist will arrange for a doctor or nurse to call you back. We aim to return your call the same day.
It is essential that you keep the practice notified of any changes in your contact details. Where possible, please supply the practice with a daytime number in addition to your home number if applicable.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, Please call the surgery on 02476311200 before 10.30am (if possible)
- Be prepared to tell the receptionist about your condition so we can prioritise the most urgent cases and arrange the most appropriate course of action.
- Ensure the surgery has up-to-date details of your address and telephone number.
